A visual sampling of how things work with BuyingClubSoftware.com

The first screen is where you log in. There will eventually be a "forgot password" tool, and probably links to request help.

After logging in, you see a welcome screen that has any messages posted by the administrator of the buying club.

In the catalog, you can order everything you need on one page, or through individual product pages through the links for each product.

The shopping basket is simple. You can change your amounts or delete products. You see the markup on your order and the total price expected at pickup.

And now the star of the show...

Splits...

My Splits is where you see splits that you are a part of. Because they are yours, you may edit the amount and delete it right there, or back in your basket.

Our system provides a few safegards and reminders while deleting split products so people understand they are pulling out and potentially unfilling a case that was filled.

Also notice that you are able to see which of the splits are open or filled by the red or green dots to the left of the product name. Green is filled, red is unfilled.

And in the Unfilled splits and Filled splits act the same, but enable different views. Shoppers are not able to delete products in those views.

Those members who are administrators have access to the tools that program the system. A list of links provide all the tools needed to update the homepage, manage memebers, manage catalogs and products, manage orders, and prepare for delivery and pickup.

This is the page for editing a product.

This is what it looks like on the member manager screen. Eventually this will be more robust and be searchable and more managable.

When opening an order, you choose the catalog, and the open and close dates, and hit save. That's it! People can only access the catalog during that period, and the system automatically shuts the order off at the specified date and time.

This is an example page to be printed for pickups that is generated by the click of a button after the order is closed. It shows the splits by product, so that split crews know who gets what. Other printed items for pickups include invoices and the order as it was sent to the vendor.
